Beth Yokum, Group Fitness Co-ordinator & Personal Training Director Beth has been teaching aerobics and personal training since 1991. She came aboard with North Cypress 5 ½ years ago. She is an incredible asset to the facility with extensive energy and knowledge about all aspects of fitness. She currently teaches everything from Les Mills® Body Pump to BOSU® to Indoor Cycling. Her passion is to uplift, motivate, and push each person to their limits. She loves everything about fitness and enjoys sharing her passion with others. You have one life, One Body; there are no do-overs, live well. _________________________________Krista Chance Krista has been an instructor for the past six years and has been at North Cypress Fitness for a year now. She is certified with AFAA and Les Mills in a variety of programs including Body Pump, Step, water aerobics, spin, kick-boxing, and circuit training. Krista enjoys encouraging and working along side others in helping them achieve their fitness goals. She also enjoys pursuing other certifications, like Les Mills RPM, to stay current and motivatingin today's fast paced fitness industry.___________________________________Kay Fallon Tai Chi/Chi Kung/Taoist YogaKay Fallon began her study of Mind/Body Arts in 1968 when she studied Hatha Yoga and East Indian Dance forms with Rosemerry Hanian at the Creative Dance Studio in Covington. In 1978 she began learning the discipline of Tai Chi and Chi Kung with Bruce and Lou Stewart. She continued to study with various Tai Chi teachers in American and Canada. Her Tai Chi teachers include Master Yang Yang at the Center for Tai Chi Studies in Chicago, Sam Masich ( 3 times World Push Hands Champion) in Vancouver, Robert Parker in North Carolina, Mark Liedig in Austin, and Krouger Adcock in Halifax. She is certified to teach advanced studies in Tai Chi, Taoist Yoga, and Chi Kung by the Inner Arts School in Ashville, North Carolina as well as a certificate from the School of Inner Martial Arts in Georgetown, Tx. Kay also earned a black belt in Aikido, Nihon Kendo, and, Nihon Jodo from Sensi S. Imazumi at the Shin Budo Kai school of Aikido in New York. ____________________________________Dea Frederick Certifications include NCFC, IAFP, AFAA. As a fitness instructor, Dea brings high energy and enthusiasm to her classes. Her classes include Indoor Cycling, Circuit, Fight Club Boxing, Abs Express and teaches the Sexy Sassy Strong program offered periodically throughout the year. She also works as a Speech-Language Pathologist at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.________________________________Kitty GibsonKitty is a new instructor at North Cypress Fitness Studio. She is certified through IAFP for group fitness and SilverSneakers® . Kitty is excited to teach our Seniors and will also be teaching Spin and Cardio/Sculpt. See you in class! _______________________________Rachel Gomez Rachel has been with North Cypress for over 2 years now. She is a certified Primary Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA and IAFP. Rachel thrives off her gym experience and wants to teadch others to love working out and experience the magic in group fitness classes. Some of the classes you will see her teaching include Les Mills Body Pump, Step, Cycling, Kickboxing, Sculpting, and will soon train to teach Les Mills RPM!_______________________________Emilie Scianna![]() Emilie has been an instructor for the past six years and has been at North Cypress Fitness for a little over a year now. Certifications include AFAA Primary Group Exercise and Johnny G. Spin Indoor Cycling. Emilie enjoys teaching all types of strength and cardio classes and is always looking for new and exciting things to add to her group fitness classes. She is also a graduate student in Communication Disorders at SELU. ______________________________Sue Wadesworth Sue began her study of yoga in 1970 in the style and technique of Richard Hittleman. Over the years she has also incorporated the techniques of Lilias Folan. She has also studied locally with Bud Shelton and others. Her teaching incorporates all ages and levels of ability including seniors. She is certified through the International Alliance for Fitness Professionals._______________________________George Fourmaux George has over 25 years tennis experience with 5 years NCAA Division I coaching experience. He has been teaching for over 12 years and is a USPTA certified instructor. As a player, George achieved high state and regional rankings. George's goal for those that he intructs is to create a good technical foundation in stroke production and then utilize those tools on the court for play. _________________________________ |
